It opens tomorrow and some really good pieces are starting to trickle into the German press about an exhibition at the Braunschweigische Landesmuseum devoted to the battle that took place around AD235 between the Romans under Maximinus Thrax and the Germans on the Harzhorn, near Kalefeld. It is called: "Roms vergessener Feldzug. Die Schlacht am Harzhorn". I did a preview a month ago here.
Hendrik Feindt in the Neue Zürcher Zeitung has another good piece putting the battle and the finds into context.
Expect a lot more: this is one of the biggest archaeology exhibtions of the year. By the way, if anyone want to commission me to review the show, you can contact me via the site.
UPDATE 4/9/13: Good article in the Weser Kurier.
